Repertoire Classes

Typically, students would only be able to learn repertoire at external workshops or summer programmes, however, Relevé School of Ballet offers the unique opportunity to take weekly repertoire classes. Dancers are taught a number of different variations (solos) and corps de ballet (group) pieces throughout the year. The difficulty in choreography is adjusted depending on the ability of the group, with older students able to learn dances en pointe.

Examples of repertoire include those from classical ballets such as ‘Swan Lake’, ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and ‘The Nutcracker’, as well as more modern ballets, and cater for both boys and girls. These enjoyable and rewarding classes are an excellent way for students to improve their dancing and expand their knowledge of classical ballet.

There may also be the opportunity for students to perform what they have learnt or enter competitions.
